Post by: mark6875 on September 24, 2012, 10:09:11 am
Hi all,

I pick up my first VW on Friday, it's a black GTI ED30 (3 door). I just hope I can fit the kids in the back...forgot to take them with me on the test drive, loved the car and bought it lol. First task when I get the car is to start the ball rolling to get my No. plaque from VW UK.

Lame question but how do you post photos in a reply? Is there a guide on here?

Lame question but how do you post photos in a reply? Is there a guide on here?

You have to host you photo's on line somewhere like www.photobucket.com or simular then when you go to that site copy the  link for that photo as an URL and paste it in to the text on your post here you need the IMG  url on here some sites use a different system most use the IMG

click quote my post and you should see the url for the photo and not the photo to see what i mean

step by step details here in forum guide

Thanks for the info. Will post some pics of the new car soon.

To say I'm chuffed with the car is an understatement, I am loving it! Also found out from VW UK today that my car was No.685 of the build line. Plaques on the way.

Hey people, is it me or is the standard colour of the 18" Pescara alloy wheels a slightly duller silver than most alloys? dont get me wrong I think they look great but I am interested to hear anyone elses thoughts?

I only really noticed as my wife pulled off the drive for her first solo drive...   :scared:

Plaque arrived today. Thanks to all those people that encouraged VW UK to manufacture them! Now where do I stick it...

I think it's supposed to go on the plastic trim that you see when you open the drivers door, near to the hinge. There should be some pics on here.
