Hi i have a mk5 2004 gti. My front gti bumper spoiler seems to be bonded to the bumper as it doesnt have no tabs, i have touched it and checked from inside and there doesnt seem to be any tabs or screws just seems like its bonded on. I have a vortex ed30 lipi want to put on but cant get the gti front spoiler off any ideas?

I believe that if you feel around the flat underneath part there are about four holes spaced along the length of it. In these holes are the screws for undoing it. Don't know if they are torx screws or normal type though, I've never actually done it. Having said all that, someone might come on here and tell me I'm completely wrong!!

You may be as well taking the bumper off. Its not a massive job and you will be able to see what you are doing better. If it has been bonded on you might be able to soften the adhesive with a heat gun then peel away the unwanted spoiler. Hth

Could be a non oem bumper perhaps if it is all moulded as one?
