I've managed to get a hold of a pair of Brembo 4 pot calipers from a Touareg V6 Tdi 2009
I did a search on here and google etc
But I can't find any hard info if these have been fitted to a mk5 before.
Keep coming up with the bigger 6 pots
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Chris.

Someone told me before they are the same as the TTRS calipers.
I don't know if it's true or not but might help.
-
I wouldn't imagine they would be too different that other models - VAG like to use the same parts on different models.
Can you not check the part number on them against the TTRS one's for example ?
-
I will look into part number and see if they are the same.

Way different, ones radial, ones axial

Iknow this is an old thread but did you get anywhere with these mate?
I've been offered a kit for good money consisting of the 4 pot toureg calipers with adapters and lines.
They come with some worn discs and pads.
So anybody know what the stopping power is like and will they work ok with the mk5 golf. The guy who's selling has them on his jetta which is virtually same isn't it?

The Jetta uses the same hubs and suspension like the equivalent Golf model. If it's a 2.0 TDI/TSI or a 1.4 TSI it has 55 mm hubs, like the GTI.

Think these will use the standard edition 30 discs?
-
No idea. I don't know that kit...
I'm going to fit the 6 pots Brembo 18Z with 350 mm brake discs.
-
I think the 4 pot toureg normally runs 330mm discs I've Tryed messaging dave b the brake guru in past but no reply as he probs gets 100 messages a day lol

No chance... 312mm you need the NQSBBK calipers off a boxster 986
