Title: Touareg brembo 4 pots- anyone fitted them to a ED30
Post by: B1NCC 1.8T on September 29, 2012, 06:53:53 pm: I've managed to get a hold of a pair of Brembo 4 pot calipers from a Touareg V6 Tdi 2009
I did a search on here and google etc
But I can't find any hard info if these have been fitted to a mk5 before.
Keep coming up with the bigger 6 pots

Any help would be appreciated.

Can you not check the part number on them against the TTRS one's for example ?

I've been offered a kit for good money consisting of the 4 pot toureg calipers with adapters and lines.
They come with some worn discs and pads.

So anybody know what the stopping power is like and will they work ok with the mk5 golf. The guy who's selling has them on his jetta which is virtually same isn't it?

Post by: Shoduchi on June 24, 2015, 07:08:03 pm: The Jetta uses the same hubs and suspension like the equivalent Golf model. If it's a 2.0 TDI/TSI or a 1.4 TSI it has 55 mm hubs, like the GTI.

I'm going to fit the 6 pots Brembo 18Z with 350 mm brake discs.

No chance... 312mm you need the NQSBBK calipers off a boxster 986
