Title: Airbag light reappearing?

A few weeks ago the airbag light randomly, turned it off and about two weeks later its re appeared when turning the ignition on. Anyone know what could be the cause of this?

A VCDS scan will point you to the culprit.

Do you have a 3dr? Has it coincided with you moving the front seats on the runners?

Did you not make a note of the fault code before you cleared it? it would of told you the offending airbag.
More than likely a seat one as skard suggests.

It's a 5 door but has a 3dr GTi interior, and yeah the seat runners have been moved.
Was just a generic programme I used so didn't catch a fault code.

It could be the flaky and pointless plug on the underside of the seats.

I and many others have done this mod (chop it and solder instead) with success.
