Title: Dealer can't read ECU with Revo ??
Post by: jon-tfsi on September 30, 2012, 10:07:27 pm
At my last service the SEAT dealer could not read the ECU for fault codes and asked if the car was mapped.

Does anyone know if this is the norm?

This is on a Leon cupra

No. REVO shouldnt effect the ability to be able to read fault codes.

This is what I thought as there is no problem Ross-tech.

It's odd that the SEAT diagnostics couldn't communicate with the car.
The first thing they asked was if it was mapped. The dealers do offer REVO now as well so they should have experienced it before now if that's the case.

I'm back there a week on Friday so will see what happens this time.

Yeah all standard apart from an aftermarket satnav hardwired. Tapped in from the 12v centre console supply
