This bit in the middle, goes up the edge of the edge of the door nearest the rear of the car, mine is all scratched

Very easy to fit. Lower the window, pull back rubber trim on pillar to expose 2 torx screws (you can see where these go on the pic I posted), undo (being carful not to drop down the gap), slide the old cover out away from the door and then place new one in and bobs your uncle.

I only fittined mine my last night also, first one was tricky, just to get it correct, then it was the windod rubber bit confused me for a min or two...
