Title: AIRCON issue, probably.

Hi guys, used the ED30 today, 1st time for along time went over the 3400 miles mark!

Anyway, noticed the aircon working but didnt seem very efficient.

I use a VW jetta for work & the aircon in that is alot colder.

Hired a Renault from Herz last month in menorca & that would freeze you solid it was that cold!

Heard alot about compreswsors etc but Im guessing they either work or dont so wouldnt explain the efficiency?

If your car is nearly 2 years old then your air con will prob need regassed. My car was in for it's 2nd year service this week so got it done and it's made a really big difference.  8)

Maybe just a simple sensor repair, fixed mine and all better now. Shame about all the other problems.

mines just over 2 years old, had compressor replaced under warrenty a couple weeks ago. steelers tried to tell me it just needed a re-gas but after reading about problems on here i told them to check the compressor............... a new 1 was ordered the next day!!! :grin:
