Oh dear, well someone had to!
How are they changing the lines on the rear quarters? I imagine with lots of filler
-
6 and a half grand, if i sold mine and put that on top i could probably get one. The body wouldnt fall off after one year when the warranty expires either :signLOL:

Lets hope Benny Lenny doesn't find this thread, he will ring them up and say if you can do it it for a grand you have got yourself a deal. :rolleye: :signLOL:

Whats the point, the mk5 looks good the way it is.

....
I don't see the point either.
The only improvements to the Mk5 which the Mk6 has aren't included on this eBay option.

I'm reminded of that pug advert when the guy in India bashes his old banger into the shape of a 207. (I think).
Imagine trying to resell LOL or insure.... :rolleye: bonkers

twas a 206 that mate :)
-
Use the £6.5k as a deposit on a real MK6 GTI or waste it on a gash replica kit.....Hummm

Was only a matter of time before this happened. It's not difficult to do, the price they're charging is crazy, and the rear "vendors" probably involve lots of bondo-ing.
If you're crazy enough to do this you can use all OEM parts. Fair enough, it would cost you almost as much as a new car when all's said and done with paint and refitting and modifications but hey - if you're gonna do it, do it right damnit.
