Title: S3 brake scam or what!?

Just foud this on ebay, to me looks exactly the same as the S3 calipers but resprayed and rebranded, but with that price I could get some serious stoppers instead! Is this genuine or fake

Agreed,thats from someone with S3 brakes that i wouldnt pay that for them and they do look exactly the same

they look like they've been painted with hammerite then a shoddy decal placed on

Title is wrong in the ad. Not 360mm discs. It's correct in the description. They are just black calipers with an abt clip. Not worth that much.

Lear industries is a good company though so I don't think its a scam, more that's the abt price if you were to by from abt.

It is actually a ABT Brake kit... google the part number...

1K0600345VA ABT sport brake kit for all 4 cylinder vehicles, front axle consiting of :
- larger brake discs 345 x 30 mm
- 1 piston calipers
- set of ABT flexible steel brake line

Yeah but looks like s3 brakes lol

Nope, its a K03 hybrid.  K04 mani/hotside with the K03 compressor housing.  They are fitted to the KTM X-Bows with the ABT upgrade kit.  Meant to make 300bhp, but they only made around 260bhp on the dyno.  All down to the ABT map.  The X-Bows were the only cars to always make 300bhp on the Revo Stage 2+ tune.  Never seen a GTi make 300bhp on a DD dyno.

The turbo with a good map would see an easy 300bhp.

so is this an easier way to 300bhp (with proper re map)?
