So time has come I'm currently running my stock exhaust and looking to buy a new one,
I know a lot of people have bought milltek but has anyone bought any other brand?
And what's your opinions?
-
Loads of threads on this subject, "search" is your friend.
Options being Milltek, APR, Blueflame, Scorpion, Jetex etc.
-
Last but not least, BCS! Good luck!
-
^^^ missed that from my list, main peeps ATM. :happy2:
-
Has anyone here actually used or heard the Scorpion option?
The back box only at £160 is very tempting.
-
Wouldn't bother with Milltek, BCS all day.
-
Thanks lads, I know there is a few threads about exhaust but not many where people express there feelings all in one thread.

thats your opinion. Obviously there are the bcs fanboys
And then there are the milltek fanboys. Best thing to do is try and get a look and listen at both. This will probably give you some idea of which corner to side.

Agreed wouldnt bother with milltek on the golf apr is the best on the 2.0tfsi IMO

BCS all and everyday long.
Look at my build thread to see my comments.
Fits like a glove sounds awesome.
Great customer service and cheaper than the Milltek.

My view on this is, people need to get out there and try all the other products on offer. You never know, Scorpion cound make the best sounding exhaust out there :star:
Too many people going straight for the most advertised brand out there (no points for guessing the brand).
I would love one of the lesser known (and even cheaper) brands to make a superior sound than the "forum favourites"

Weirdly I am very tempted to go and try the Scorpion.
They are a brand that has been around for ages, I had one on my old Astra GSI back in the early 2000's and it sounded good.
They are also of the same looking design as the Blueflame and BCS in terms of not having any form of back box.
So to my mind they really cannot sound a lot different...
This is purely for the sport note, as I don't plan on going down the full system route this time.
