Hi,
On certain road surfaces even different camber surfaces I get what i can only explain as a vibration which can be felt through the accelerator pedal under my feet at motorway speeds only.
Ive checked wheels and they are balanced, the steering is solid no wobble at all.
It was there before I fitted my coilovers and is still there on some roads?
Does anyone else get this? Im thinking it could be down to the tyres on the front as they are not the best brand but have even wear and plenty of tread left. Another thing I have noticed is that the front drivers side alloy wheel seems to have a lot more balancing weights on it then the rest....makes me think it maybe slightly buckled?

.
No, I don't experience this and we can all be sure that it's not normal.
My guess is that it's either wheel or tyre related and also could be alignment. Best to have it checked out by a professional.

Hi Robin I agree I think it's wheel related im thinking the alloy wheel is not true. I have had a look and 3 of the alloys have a couple if small weights stuck on the inside if the rim. The drivers front has a large strip of weights which seems odd to me as all the alloys are the same.
Think I will switch the fronts to the back this weekend and see what happens. I'm looking to change the rims.
I had the alignment done after KWs were fitted.

Switching fronts to back won;t make a difference, you will still feel vibrations, Either tyres have had it, buckled wheel or not weighted right...

I have said it, and will say it again, through no personal gain I hasten to add, after I had a Powerflex dogbone insert fitted, everything stiffened up and most vibrations I ever had disappeared!!!

I've got the ecs insert.

I suspect this may be because of your present tyres...
