Evening all,
I'm wanting to replace my RCD500 stereo with a RCD510 so I need a new gateway coz my car is a 2005 and don't want a dead battery.
At present my gateway's part no. is 1K0 907 530 E, which one do I need? It needs to work with cruise control too as thats next on the list.
Also, I would like my new stereo to be the DAB radio model. I have a shark fin GPS aeriel on the car just now, would this do for recieving DAB signals or would I need a new one and its cables?
Thanks.

Oh, there some more info for my present gateway if it helps.
I have the Hardware number, Component version and Software coding numbers if needed.

The gateway will need to be changed
I can supply these, uncoded or Precoded

You will need to change your roof antenna for one that supports DAB
as for Cruise Control, send Golfman a PM

I was assuming the RNS510 had DAB too as well as GPS so I thought maybe my GPS aeriel was DAB compatable. Ho hum.
So which part number (for the gateway) do I need so I can do a little research? I may well then contact you
What do I need to contact Golfman for? My original gateway takes cruise control, will the new one not?

The one I sell is 7N0 907 530C and is will sort the battery drain issue
RNS510 Doesn't support DAB
I thought you didn't have Cruise and was looking to retrofit it

Thanks. Yeh you're right, I don't have cruise control fitted at present, its something I'm going to do. Does Golfman sell them or something? I'm just a bit confused though, do some gateways accept cruise control and some don't? I can fit everything myself, thats not an issue and the coding can be done by my local Revo dealer. So all good. My have to scrap the DAB idea, can't be bothered fitting a new aeriel.
