Title: How much should dealer grab handle be?
Post by: homesqueeze on October 13, 2012, 04:00:38 pm: Just wondering how much people have paid for the interior grab handles on a 3 door GTI. I'm sure I remember reading on here that people have got them for about a tenner for each side. However, my dealer is quoting about £10 for the drivers side, but £20 for the passenger side! Does this sound right? Is there anywhere else I can source these parts?

Drivers was about £10 for my 5 door and iirc someone said the 3 door was the same. Not sure on the passengers side but that still isn't to bad a price. Just looked on ebay and they are £18+ postage

I've got a new boot trim for mine waiting to go on, cost e £110 back in June but still haven't got round to swapping them yet

V1K0 868 039 B7 5DR 036814/N/S/F £7.43
V1K0 867 179 D7 5DR 036814/N/S/F £9.08
V1K4 686 050 C7 5DR 036814/O/S/F £9.08

Prices excluding vat. Top two was for the passenger handle, comes in two pieces. Hope that helps.

I also bought the drivers handle for my mkiv. That was £14.13 excl. vat. :stupid:
