Woah, that one of the helecopter blew me away

^^^^
I think they all look stunning except that second shot of the engine in transparent body - It looks very unreal and unconvincing as a photograph. It's gone a bridge too far.

Robin,
The transparent effect is cuased by the Prop. The aircraft was carrying out an engine run post a reported oil leak, hence they ground run it with engine covers off, a fairly common procedure. It aids early identification.

Looks like a massive diverter valve to me.

I personally think its the best shot, but personal opinion and all that.

.
For me, this is the best shot:
(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi.dailymail.co.uk%2Fi%2Fpix%2F2012%2F10%2F17%2Farticle-2218653-1587E2D4000005DC-469_964x752.jpg&hash=efaa289837684a768c3cc3e5e766a8f1c3913958)
The others, to varying degrees, look as if they have been very heavily Photoshop'd indeed (though well done) and this shot looks the most natural.
It's all down to personal preference of course.

Amazing pictures! Has anyone got any more links?

On full reheat during a combat take off it does, funny watching all the car alarms go off :)
