Title: which stubby aerial ????

Hi Guys...


Im wanting to swap my original aerial for the short stubby type and not sure which one it is.

Its got to sit behind my sharkfin thing on the roof .

Just wondered which type i need to get ??  polo/sharan???

Hi there, if it helps I replaced the aerial on my mk5 with a 2010 VW Polo one. It's the short stubby type, looks good and works perfectly with a great reception.

Looks great, works great, fits under my roofbox.

Don't buy a cheap copy from ebay - they don't work.

I also have a polo type but that's too long to fit under my 'box.

Be careful, the Sharan stubby worked on my 55 plate R32, but didn;t on my 07 edition 30, well it wasn't great... I have the MY10 Polo one which works great for me...

Someone stole mine and gave me their crappy destroyed one, its hanging to pieces. I just recently washed the car so i reckon it only got swiped yesterday

So went for one of those my10 polo aerials like MC71

..........got the same on my ED30 works pefect. :smiley: Just get the orginal from the dealers as stated above & don't buy the cheap copies.
