Title: service question which oil ?

Hi all,
Due a service on my gti, it's on 95k, this is the first service Ice had to do so far and plan to do it every 10k or yearly so should I use platinum or longlife oil as my local vw dealer said I can use either
So opinions please

I use longlife. That also seems to be the oil of choice on here whether you are on longlife servicing or yearly.
