Title: Scuff on grill
Post by: Matto on October 19, 2012, 07:47:42 pm
Just wondering if anything can be done about scratches/scuffs on the matt black plastic grill? The problem I've found is where my GT badge has been vibrating its scuffed the fin that it sits against. Is it possible to get this out bearing in mind its not a painted surface.

Thanks.

Try a heat gun.

It will not get rid of the scratches but should make them less visible (less white).
Heat it slowly & be very careful not to melt/burn the surface!

I managed to make some of the scuffs on my plastic boot panels and my partners Mazda 2 dashboard less visible this way.
