Title: Quick paddle shift question

Sorry if its has been asked before which im sure it will of been but had search and cant find the exact answer i'm after.

Got a wheel lined up to upgrade my DSG to paddle shift, been to see my local specialist today and he isn't sure if I would need a new controller and if the steering buttons would work.

Now the car is a 05 please car with the midline display and cruise control, will i need a new controller? if I do then that is fine but will the buttons work with a midline display?

If you do a search, it should throw up your answers. I am pretty sure you will need a new controller and a new cruise control stalk. Also pm Ed nil he is always doing this kind of upgrade for peeps.  :happy2:
