My mate is going to be doing this to his tsi passat cc at the weekend, told him he can be the guinea pig before i even think about putting it near mine.

Just the amount of stuff coming out the exhaust seems a bit intense.
Would be interested to get an opinion after your mate uses it?

There is a video on YouTube of a guy proving all the smoke is just the seafoam and not any carbon being removed.

IIRC he uses a brand new lawnmower to prove the point

The Ron Echt method i cheaper,and genuinely works. Did it on my Cupra using white spirit. There was a Youtube how to, and possibly a thread on here... Ron Echt being the forum user who pioneered the technique.

It does work with white spirit which is backed up by my bore scope pics.

I'm not sure of the effectiveness. I didn't really notice much of a difference afterward.

The guy's car in the video below has 82.000 miles and he says (at 11m15s) that he "definitely feels a power difference" after seafoam.
