Title: Headlight bulb removal
Post by: Tortaruga on October 27, 2012, 12:40:39 pm
How do I get the multi-pin connector off? Elsaweb says that it just pulls off so I can then access the wire clip behind, but it won't budge. Any tips??

Thanks

Is this the plus that connects to the back of the headlight itself?

Yes that's the one. I've a feeling it's just very tight, but I don't want to destroy anything by forcing it too much.

You may have to. We changed the headlights on my mates car and we had to force the plugs off. We tried everything to get them off bit the design means you can't get a screwdriver or anythin in to release the clip.

Job done. Being blessed with small hands, it was fairly easy. Even the sidelights!
