Title: VW gateway version? RNS 510

Hi,


I have a 2007 Golf MKV TDI and im about to get a RNS 510 Rev H.
Ive read somewhere about battery drain if i put in the REV H version and that i need a new Can bus gateway and then have that coded for the newer types of RNS 510.

Can anyone please answer me on what version of VW can bus gateway i need?

Hi

You have a large choice of suitable ones, I can supply New 7N0 gateways.

You can use

1K0 907 530 L > Q (some people have had issues with P)
1k0 907 530AA > AF
7N0 907 530
7N0 907 530C, H, M R
others will probably work but you may get faults due to not finding the battery regulator
