Post by: NoahMini on October 31, 2012, 08:07:31 pm
Hi,

I'm Noah, I'm 16 and am restoring a classic mini (off topic i know) My dad drives a Mk5 Golf GT 2.0 so like I do with all the cars we own am joining the forum, just incase I need any help or advice.

I do have one question, its a 2005 car btw, how would I go about connecting up an iPhone, it has the standard VW Headunit, with a CD slot drive ontop and a Disk changer in the arm rest, WTF?

Thanks

Noah!

PS; If you wan't to have a look at the mini. Here she is.

Howdy Noah!  :drinking:

Mini looks a peach. How many forums you on then young fella?  :signLOL:

Change the Headunit to a RCD510 or RNS510 (Nav unit) and fit bluetooth or buy an aftermarket bluetooth unit and get it installed, such as a Parrot system. Loads of threads in Sat Nav & Audio section.....

I'm doing A motor vehicle maintenence course so technically its revision?   :happy2:

I will have a look into it.

EDIT - and the Mini isn't too great :P, Despite it now having a rare black leather interior, Very rusty.
