Hey guys.
So today i decided to start on my auto levelling retrofit.
After jacking the car up and finding where the sensor goes, im a little baffled as the holes in the sensor don't line up with the holes on the car.
Looking in from the nearside...

Thanks for that.
Looks like the rear one shown there has a different bracket to mine! I'll go grab a pic.
Cheers.

what is the part number on your sensor?
did it come from an r32?
-
I'm not sure what it came from, but I bought it all from a member on here.
The part number is 1k0 941 273 F
That's stamped on the bracket itself, which if I google it, returns pictures which look like the correct one! :stupid:
Cheers
-
Same problem I had, that's an r32 bracket and you need the one for a normal front wheel drive car...I ended up getting mine from eBay.de...
-
Just what I needed to hear thanks, least I know it's not me!
Can't find any online so looks like ill get a new one. Don't suppose anyone knows the correct part number for the one I need?
Cheers.

Rear Sensor Part number is
1K0 941 273E (which has been dropped)
New part number 1K0 941 273L (£111.48)
-
Thanks, lot of money when I only need the bracket! I'll have to keep a look out.
Cheers!
-
strange but you can buy individual parts for the front sensor
but not the rear
-
Ive got the same problem. Somehow have ended up with an R32 rear sensor which doesnt fit!
-
I've only just managed to get hold of a second hand one!
Went round my local scrap yards, and messaged everyone on eBay breaking mk5 golfs.... nothing.
Was refusing to pay the £114 the dealers wanted. Have finally found one, and it's coming from the US!!
