Post by: craig_t on November 03, 2012, 12:13:08 pm
Can anyone tell me if Audi TTRS 370mm front brakes are a straight bolt on upgrade for a mk5. I found a set but not sure if iv ever seen them on a gti.

Cheers

You need to ask DaveB but I suspect you'll need 19" rims with different carriers and spacers.

Fitted to my mk2 Leon, behind 18" BBS Seat Sport Alloys with a 12mm spacer

I think a spacer is required

Dave's/AP discs help here though as the bell offset creates more caliper clearance IIRC :happy2:

Dave's AP kit uses a 362mm discs instead of 370mm, so the caliper has about 3mm more clearance inside an 18" alloy.
