I am glad that Apple are continuing with the bigger iPad - I find its size ideal for my purposes.

done this a few year ago, bit of a pain when you cant access flash websites. Pros outweigh the cons right enough.

It doesnt really matter to you in any case because you have one and it works for your setup.  :happy2:

My mrs wanted to sell her laptop to get an ipad for ages, told her it's not a direct replacement.
Got an ipad for her birthday and very quickly came an admission that the laptop is still needed for some things!

However, the ipad covers the majority of stuff done on a daily basis.

I love my ipad when relaxing on the couch and on the train, although it isn't a replacement for a PC/laptop. I still have decent desktop for when I need to to more.

Yep, the Samsung Note 10.1. I am in a quandary at the moment as both kids want an Ipad, but not sure whether to go for one of those or the Samsung. From the point of view of Flash and other apps, seems like the Samsung might be the one to go for.

Flash is dead. Adobe dropped Flash development for Mobile devices last year, and is backing HMTL5. We haven't done any Flash work for a good few years now, and I don't know many credible design agencies that would choose to work with it.

Yep.... even youtube is rolling out HTLM5 testing at the moment... if youve found that your youtube has not been working correctly this is why.

If you are wanting the latest generation ipad buy it direct from apple, if not make sure that the plug at the bottom for the USB cable is the small lightening connector as some shops are still selling the 3rd generation as "the new ipad"

I bought my first ipad in march this year and I have only used my laptop a few times since then the ipad is too handy
