That side view of the front of the car is great, love that colour!
-
Hey Matt
Kool car man, health to enjoy :happy2: The blue colour really suits the rocco...
Whats the plans for this one :rolleye: It could do with being a bit lower!
-
nice
-
Thanks guys,
Scopes, Plan's are ;
H&R Springs (35mm all round)
WALK
Whiteline ARBS
VWR intake (or other reputable TSI intake)
Full BCS turbo back exhaust
APR stage 2
Eventually, probably two years time APR K04 Conversion!
-
The bug has grabbed you by the b*lls matey
KO4 again, power hungry :signLOL:
Enjoy, look forward to seeing this, the roccos dont need to much as they come pretty well of standard.
You have learnt from your old car what needs to be done...
Goodluck :happy2:
-
Yeah i mean bang for buck your not going to get better than the k04 conversion!
You'd have to spend 4999 on a fully fledged stage 3 turbo(405hp) and 5999 on a 3+(450)
So it makes sense that at 2200 you can 360-70 hp!
-
Great pics :happy2:
Love the rocco's, which is why I've just bought 1!!!!!
-
Super pics matt! :happy2:
-
Cheers POV and
congratz on the new Roc' dude!
-
Going to Awesome for a few goodies!!
Will be lowered by 35mm all round on H&R's !
A neuspeed p-flo with heatshield
and topped off with an APR stage 1!
255-265 hp here i come! :)
-
You could save a bit of cash, if you went for the k&n carbon fibre induction kit i have up for sale on here mate. :happy2:
-
So i went to Awesome Wednesday which was about an hour and a half away!
So i turned up expecting to get some H&R springs, a P-FLO kit and an APR remap (stage 1)
When i turned up i enquired about buying the Anti-lift kit, (a must for a handling mod, as a i found out on my previous stage 3 leon) i couldn't resist but buy it, may aswell as i'm paying for the alignment for the springs! haha
So my overall review;
H&R springs- Great drop, really makes the car sit well and it handles much better however i can't tell if that's the WALK kit or the springs! NEGATIVES- I do miss the comfort setting on the DCC now it constantly feels in sport mode i.e Crashy!
P-Flo kit- So i was skeptical about this as it was so cheap! It's difficult to hear the mod unless you have the radio off, even then it's not the loudest. I am contemplating at stage 2'ing this right back to the turbo intake to get a better sound. I am happy with it though for what i paid, and it has certainly improved throttle response and gives a slight rasp.
APR remap - Well what can i say, i'm used to big power (reasonably) so i wasn't expecting 260hp to feel like this. It's absolutely superb, pulls strong and all the way through the rev range! Simply, a must!!! HOWEVER, wait for a sale as i think £599 is rather steep for any map!! *luckily i didnt pay this*
WALK - A MUST FOR FAST ROAD/ TRACK USE or those who enjoy feeling the car more.
Seriously, the guys at awesome are absolutely top notch! met with Awesome Mike off here, and he's....awesome!! Gave me a tour of the workshop and we discussed my build and the route i wanna go down! All of the lad's there showed a genuine interest in car's!
Pictures uploaded in a few hours!!
Questions??
-
A great choice there  Car is looking great in the pics :drinking:
Ive got the P flow for my ko4 edition 30 and i really like it, has been working well on my APR stage 2.
got mine booked in for the WALK and arb's in 2 weeks so looking forward to seeing the results like you have said.
Top guys at awesome too must say got to become some good friend with one or two of them! easy to get carried away with the spending in there too
enjoy the remap. look forward to any further developments
-
Nice one!
Good review! :happy2:
-
What a great start matey :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:
Has the plan changed any or what way do you fancy going?
-
Not entirely sure on turbo route, K04 is best bang for buck, but that was already done on Leon!
Maybe a Hybrid K04 just to be different?!
Next up either a Milltek TBE or a BCS one! Then stage 2 tweak! :)
-
So just a quick update.....
I went 100cell BCS Turbo back. Sounds gorgeous now, especially on boost and the DSG farts are ridicccc!!!
Also went to AKS to get some cheeky add ons! - Front and Rear ARBS to sharpen up suspension and turn in! :)
