Yeah, I was asked about special colours when I did a factory order for my first Mk5 GTi. I did't look into it though as it sounded expensive. Have to say though it makes you wish you had when it could be rare and so good looking. Never understood why they stopped Laser Blue either.

I looked at a GTi in this colour, but it was in very poor condition and the VW garage were tw*ts. After pointing out several scratches on the car, they just laughed to themselves and said it was to be expected! :surprised: :rolleye:

The Pistonheads car is most certainly Laser Blue. Its darker than the top one, even allowing for the extra sunshine on the top car. My wife has a Laser Blue 1.6 so I know the colour well.

Tis an Import that one in R32 Blue, special order from importers only.

Benny, CMDRfire has a laser Blue which was only available up to 55 plate, and was discontinued.

I used to own a laser blue also and the O.P's pic, is a different blue.

Since my new kit nearly replaces all the existing body pannels, i decided to spend that bit extra :smiley:

Looks sweet though - you can see the pearl effect there !!!

Its the same colour as the Audi Red - why will it look old fashioned ? :confused:
