VW are offering a £1500 deposit contribution on the new Beetle already! Can't exactly be flying out of the showrooms then.
TBH, it's no surprise. If you design a car aimed at 52% of the population and a few Big Gay Bears, what do you expect?
I certainly can't recall VW doing this on a car so recently launched. They barely ever do it, unless the model is on it's last legs before replacement.

VXR insignia's are now selling with 4k discount from new to try shift them.. If I had £29k I'd have that over a well spec'd beetle lol
-
My misses loves em! :scared: :ashamed:  :stupid: :signLOL: (bless her)
-
They are doing this across a few of the cars at Vw
-
tbh
I think the new beetle looks a lot better than the model it replaced, I still don't want one.
As said above every model has a contribution if you buy on finance. makes you think that they are pushing sales.
-
I must be one of those big gay bears then cos I would have a new beetle any day.....as long as it was the turbo! I think they look awesome, especially when modified! :P
I think like other car manufacturers they are trying everything they can to create interest and sales in the brand. Isn't the £1500 deposit dependant on the purchaser tasking out vw finance?

That'll be because she is a lady, for whom the Beetle is designed. You've got to be a bit "Hello Sailor" to drive one if you've got meat and 2 veg!
-
I like em and I don't care if its a girls car :P
-
I am a sailor too. :pomppomp:
There was a top of the range one at the Gold cup in the summer, and it was lovely. It also had a crowd of people stopping to take a look.
-
Does it still have a vase for my pink gerbera? If not, I'm oot!
-
Ive had 5 new beetles in the past and loved everyone of them....although they were all modified. I've been called all sorts when I had mine and it made me even more determined to keep buying them to wind them up! As RR would say ETTO! :happy2:
-
I think Ian is coming round to linking them. :pomppomp:
-
:signLOL:
I would. 2.0l TSI with a K04 would shut the haters up.
-
As Mark will testify (The Big Gay Bear) I've never been a fan of the 'New' Beetle but the latest offering is much easier on the eye, and dare I say it a bit more masculine! :pomppomp:
-
Dont mind them at all , I only like the Sport spec ones though.... This was the one I had for a weekend.

Isn't the new 2012 Bug the result of the previous gen Beetle being 'Boris Beckered' in a broom cupboard by some naughty Scirroco.
..wasn't a Blue Track Spec version was it??
