Hi Not sure if anyone can help
Noticed today after getting my new GTI home there seems to be a small gap at the top of the drivers door ...Do you think this will be repairable or a new door job? :sad1:

I got the same on the passenger side body shop said to me it just needs re aligned unless its bent which I highly doubt unless your he-man
-
hopefully that will be the case with mine to have to get it looked at as not sure how to go about re aligning myself :happy2:

if it's 3 door it seems to be typical! The door wing is just huge and heavy...

Think its a common problem more so on 3 doors as the doors are bigger. I'm not sure but think there is some adjustment on them. Not sure how you do it but found this link which gives you measurements for each of the shut lines.
