Title: Door Gap
Post by: davejtyrrell on November 08, 2012, 08:56:05 pm
Hi Not sure if anyone can help

Noticed today after getting my new GTI home there seems to be a small gap at the top of the drivers door ...Do you think this will be repairable or a new door job? :sad1:

if it's 3 door it seems to be typical! The door wing is just huge and heavy...

Think its a common problem more so on 3 doors as the doors are bigger. I'm not sure but think there is some adjustment on them. Not sure how you do it but found this link which gives you measurements for each of the shut lines.
