Title: Kinetix brake discs
Post by: exodus_ste on November 09, 2012, 12:22:50 pm
Hi guys. Im in the process of upgrading the horse sh*t brakes on my Eddy to a full front and rear 345/310mm S3 setup. I have seen these discs on ebay which i like the look of but i dont know if they're actually going to be any good.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A3-8P1-HATCHBACK-S3-QUATTRO-FRONT-DRILLED-KINETIX-BRAKE-DISCS-TX060-137-/270935986238?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Cars+Type%3A3.2+R32+4motion&hash=item3f150b103e

Ive done a search which showed some people asking about them already and a few comments but no actual user reviews. Has anybody had these before? They sound ok and have the appropriate BS numbers.

Otherwise im going ATE plain discs with OE pads.

On a second note, ive pm'd DaveB i think but had no replies. Is he around?

I have been looking at a set of fronts (345mm) for my eddy.

Like you I have done some research but can not find much.
But at the same time I can't find anything bad either.  :signLOL:

Don't really help you I know, but I am going to give them a try.

The oe set up will be a good set up if your not sure.
