Title: Parallels 8 For Mac
Post by: Lone_Par on November 11, 2012, 10:17:04 pm
Does anyone use Parallels 8 (or 7 for that matter). Need access to Windows on my iMac and Macbook Air - mainly so I can use MS Project. I've got a full XP disk and just need to know for certain that XP can run on it. I'm using the most up to date version of Mountain Lion so just want to make sure before I part with my cash.

Cheers.

Gaz

Or Bootcamp. Parrallels is a virtualisation programme, whereas Bootcamp creates a partition on your hard drive to run Windows from.

Was under the impression that if you are running Mountain Lion you can't run XP through Boot Camp, only Win 7 and 8?
