Title: Aux in or ipod connection for my RNS510
Post by: dnLcal on November 13, 2012, 06:43:25 pm
As it suggests in the title i want to add an Aux in or Ipod/iphone connection for my RNS510.

What is the cheapest way of doing this?

Will i be able to operate the iphone (ie playlists) from the RNS?

Ive seen a friend that just bought a 62 plate seat leon fr supacoopa can wirelessly stream music from his iPhone, his headunit looks remarkably similar to a rns310.

I dont have bluetooth but would be interested in fitting it, definitely if i could stream music to it.

Any help much appreciated.

You have 2 options

Add a 5K0 phone kit, which would allow music streaming

or if you want a conventional plug and lead then an MDI would also do the job

I have both options available

Cheers for the speedy reply EDDIE-NL.

How much would each of these options cost me?

I also see you can do MFSW how much does it cost to add the buttons and necessary ECU's to a steering wheel from a manual car?
