hi all, im trying to gather some info on how difficult it is to fit sat nav into a golf that originally didnt have it fitted. i would want to fit a genuine vw unit which i gather to be a rns510 but there seems to be many different models which only run on certain gateways etc and also if you fit the wrong version you can get battery drain :sad1:
what parts would be needed? obviously the unit and gps aeriel. anything else?
thanks in advance for any help

Plugs straight into the OEM aerial. Just need a GPS "puck", there <£10 on eBay and it just goes behind the head unit :happy2:
Looking for £250 + postage.
