You will need to take driving license, photocard and the paper counterpart to check any endorsements. Normally this is it :happy2:

Brilliant thanks very much :drinking:
-
VW never asked me for anything when I picked up a courtesy car
But I had to arrange my own insurance for the car
-
I had to show my license, only because I was lazy and got them to insure me on the 1.2 litre polo beast that they gave me!!

I will take my insurance certificate just in case as it says on there im insured on loan / courtesy cars if mine is in for repair / m.o.t

The rules differ from the branch owner (Western, Peter Vardy, Lookers etc) as my local Stirling branch wanted to see my license and proof that I'd added it to my existing policy, whereas the Edinburgh branch (a different dealership) didn't ask to see any documents, and didn't charge me a penny for the car :happy2:
