Don't suppose anyone on here knows much about the above watches? Mine has completely stopped and won't reset etc. My first thought was battery, but I've only had it since Feb.
Its got a 2 year guarantee so ill be taking a trip to Goldsmiths in the morning! Unless anyone here can help. I've tried all the usual methods to try and reset it.
Cheers in advance.

Is it quartz or automatic?
Quartz... it could be the battery. :signLOL:
-
I've got a 10 year old one, it does exactly that when the battery dies.
-
It's a quartz.
Like I said, thought it could be the battery but I thought they were supposed to last about 2 years, not ten months?
It didn't just stop either, it was in chrono mode and had been keeping time as I must have pressed the button my accident. When I tried to reset it that's when the various dials went mental and then stopped completely.

A brand new battery maybe... but how do you know how long it was running before you bought it?

Fair point. It's the 2011 Calibre S F1 so it was released the latter half of last year, so its plausible that if it had been in the shop on day 1 that the battery could be shot. Though still no where near the 2-3 years battery life claimed.
Don't get me wrong I hope you are right!
It just seemed bizarre that the watch was working fine and in chrono mode and when I tried to reset it, it went haywire then stopped.
Cheers again.

Out of interest, what's your battery life like, new?

I have a similar Tag and I've just had the battery replaced (£30) at the place I bought it from about 4-5 years ago so thats as long as my battery lasted. i was also advices to get it serviced but as yours is only 18 months old, not a consideration I imagine.

Thanks mate. Well hopefully it is the battery as I'm not overly keen on the long wait most folk have when it needs to get sent away!
Bought it from an authorised repairer so praying its a straightforward fix.

My mum had a Ebel quartz watch, its was over 100 quid to get the battery changed and it only lasted a year. She swapped it in the end for a tag auto. :happy2:
I would have thought that you should expect to get 2 years from a battery under normal conditions.

Here's hoping mate. Last thing I needed after a tough week at work! I know it's just a watch, but a bloody expensive one!! Just dug the paperwork out and also got 5 years insurance through the jeweller so shouldn't cost me a penny if it is needing fixed.
Wife's out and wee mans in bed - so now to try and take my frustrations out on some folk on COD! :fighting: :fighting: :fighting:

^^^^ ive given up with the new COD, im crap at it, leaving it to the 12 year old bedroom warriors around the world.
In case you ever need a good repairer for any watches, use these peeps below, I can highly recommend them.
