Title: Can anyone help
Post by: craig_t on November 18, 2012, 02:23:45 pm
Iv noticed my car has picked up a small problem the last few days. It's seems that when I do any speed over 60mph there is a vibration threw the car.

Could it be a wheel unbalanced?

The vibration isn't threw the steering wheel, it's threw the seat and floor?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Does sound like the wheels need balancing.

Did you not have fronts re balanced at the same time?

Have you got another set of wheels you can throw on to see it does it then?

Probably wheel balancing but have a look underneath to see if there's anything loose, also if its intermittent worth a check on your back brakes to see if they're siezed, as the discs get hot they become warped and can vibrate like hell.

I didn't get the front done as Iv had balancing issues before and found if the front are unbalanced you normally get vibration threw the steering wheel. But in my car it's more threw the floor/seat.
