R32 one were £76 for the pair - which come primered ready to paint - if you want the standard GTI black plastic versions I would think they will be a similar price.

Neg that was a while back, and they had been priced wrong. I think they are double that price.
Take a look through our for sale section, there was some for sale a while back.

i sold mine recently for £120 less delivery, seems about the going rate for 2nd hand and mine were minty
-
i know ive jst had mine fitted... but i didnt knick yours.. honest... :innocent: :chicken:

Are all R32 ones primered already? I really want to spray mine, and having that done already saves me a bit of work?
If I get some R32 ones then mine will be available.

Yep they come smoothed and primed, it works out about the same price buying either after you factor in sanding and priming the GTI skirts.

Its hard to tell but they look like the GTI ones, the R 32 ones dont have the little line near the back and i thought they all come primed.
-
those dont look very genuine to me, i'd ask for photos of the manufacturers stamps :drinking:
theres alot of repro's floating about and they're wafer thin
-
I was really just pointing these out for the OP, in case he wanted a cheap set to replace his missing one.
Will probably just end up sanding mine myself and getting my brother in law to paint them for me.

I have a pair for sale here:

Can you buy them separately or do they have to come in pairs from vw?
-
You can buy them individually, bodyshops across the world would be pretty annoyed if that was VWs policy!

dude.. ive just said almost the exact same thing on the splitter thread haha :signLOL:

Just been down to my local inde vw/audi garage and both looked again at the side skirt.. turns out some scrote has tried to nick it.. hence all the knife marks down the edge of where the skirt was..
fs... £29 +vat thats all they would have to pay but no they try nicking one and fortunately they broke it so they actually got feck all!
Anyway question now, it might cost me 2.5 hrs labour (£45 an hour) for them to fix it because they have to remove all the sticky edging before putting the new skirt on.. I can save myself most of that time if I prepare it myself.. does anyone know whats best to remove the spongy sticky edging and black sticky that the skirt attached to? They recommended using nail varnish?
help ideas much appreciated :happy2:

If you need an hand just give me a shout mate.

Thanks mate thats a really nice gesture - I'm gonna have a go with some acetone over the next few days and if I have success then the guy at the garage said he would fit it for free (luckily the guide rail is still on) will let you know how I get on!
