Title: 3" turbo revs decat downpipe, engine warning light?

Looking at buying a turbo revs decat downpipe for a standard GTI.
After using the search function, i read that it may throw up a warning light on the dash?
Is the above true and if so, would this solve it?
Anything else i should know regarding fitting?

You can get the cel mapped out using stage 2 software.

And lots of popping and gargling, mine has been on for 2 weeks now and is starting to sound awesome!! The really big plus side is, the car is completely silebt when cruising, no noise at all but really does sound awesome on WOT! :evilgrin: :driver:

Awesome! cant wait. how long approx to fit it? big job? also read about trimming down the hanger to prevent knocking?

Shouldn't take any lover than 1 hour really  mate.
Well that is a problem I had, don't know if they are all the same, I presume they would be. Just grind it off slightly behind the bulges on the mounts and will be perfect.

Garage has gone to fit it and there's no joiner to join the 2 bits together? Any idea what I need and where to get it?

Can't remember what make mine is but, it its awesome except for the mounts being that bit too long. Once you have got them shortened a bit it is perfect!!

It could be modified to accept standard cat by welding a cat flange to it I guess
