I am looking at REVO stage 1 so want to update my diverter valve.
Firstly, which version should I go for?
What are the part numbers?
What is the new price from the stealers?
Thanks

As you are on a GTI 200PS, i would advice you get a piston type one.

Cant remember exactly... but 40-50 quid!

Awesome do the revised type (G?) for a decent price £45ish IIRC.
-
D on a gti due to heat
G on an Edition 30

Would go for the G valve as it seems to hold boost better, get it for the VW main dealer of TPS if I were you.
Revision G Part Number 06F 145 710 G about £40
Revision D Part Number 06H 145 710 D about £55

That's the piston type one, the Revision D (06H 145 710 D)

I thought the upgraded one was the G - Piston type and the old version was the D - diaphram type

From what I can gather Rev G is for ko3 and rev D is for ko4. The old G for ko4 has been replaced by D.
And rev C to Rev G for ko3

Getting confused now!
I will be going to the stealers at the weekend to see what they say/have.

^^^^ G for K04 Turbo'd cars (Edition30/Pirelli) and D for the K03 Turbo'd cars (GTI). Both would be better than the Revision C though.

Hope to clear things up for you.
The Revision C was prone to splitting and has been replaced by the G revision. The early G revisions had a few that split but they released a newer G revision that is more robust and so far none that I know of have failed.
When the C revisions were failing people (including myself) went to the D as it was the best solution on the market at the time. Some went the Forge DV route but for a simple plug and play the D was the best. Now the D revsions have been known to leak, as was proved by RTech Nick. The end of the piston does not have a rubber seal so air can leak by, whereas the G revision has a seal on the end and makes a better seal. The G is designed for both the K03 and K04 GTi variants. The D is from the Audi S3.
Just to confuse you the D has now been replaced by a new C revsion, which is basically a D without the cage around the piston.
Which one to chose will be up to you, as people swear by which ever one they have fitted. Having had the D and G fitted I prefer the G, as the car runs smoother and feels more powerful throughout the rev range. Plus its cheaper by quite a bit and cars running 340bhp are running the valve without any issue.
Hope this makes it a bit clearer for you :happy2:
