Earlier in the week the following lights came on - ABS LIGHT, TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT AND TYRE PRESSURE LIGHTS ALL COME ON (ORANGE)
So i scanned the car
CAR CHECKED AND FAULT CODE
00290 ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR, REAR LEFT G46.
003 - MECHANICAL FAILURE - INTERMITTENT
ORDERED NEW SENSOR 1K0 927 807 FROM GSF (been told that these are now superseeded)
Moved car 100 YARDS BEFORE RED CAUTION LIGHT STARTS FLASHING AND 3 BLEEPS AS WELL AS THE OTHER LIGHTS LISTED ABOVE.
NEW PART FITTED AND SCANNED - FAULT CODE 00290 ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR, REAR LEFT G46.
003 - MECHANICAL FAILURE - INTERMITTENT
00287 ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR, REAR RIGHT G44
003 - MECHANICAL FAILURE - INTERMITTENT
SCANNED AT VW TODAY WHICH HAD THE SAME FAULT AS ME BUT COST ME £90 (for nowt really), said they could not see anything wrong and would need to strip the rear brakes down. Which would be 4 hours labour and then check the wheel bearings, they would charge £60 for each sensor if needed (but they checked out ok in the scan, I bought them at £45 from GSF).
So are the sensor rings in the bearings ? And do the bearing push into the disc ?
Or is there an easier way forward ?
Thanks for your help.

The bearings bolt in
You really need it checking thoroughly before throwing any more money at it

Thanks Stevo, like ive said it was scanned by VW who could not find anything wrong and said they would need to strip it all down. Then check everything out on the rear brakes.
