hey folks
I'm thinking about buying myself some BOJO trim removal tools for the odd jobs i always end up doing on mine and mates cars
has anyone had experience with these? are they worth the little bit extra money, or would people recommend another brand?
thanks for any advice :drinking:

Bought some ages ago. Done a few stereo fits and trim jobs with them no problem at all.
-
I only use Bojo. I tried another brand some time ago and they snapped and fell to pieces. Bojo still going strong.
-
Yeah great things use all the time

Bought a set of 5 from eBay a while back, more than strong enough for whatever you put them through. :happy2:

I got em. I like em. :-)

I got a set of 10 from eBay a couple of years ago and they put up with my abuse lol

I've got the 25 piece set when I was a stereo fitted - you can put them through anything and they just keep going!
-
^^^^ 25 piece set for a stereo removal, I only used 1. Must have cost you £50 for Bojo.

just ordered a new set for myself as i have abused my old ones 16 quid on total from usa

cheaper than bojo and perfectly ok for work on the golf, not as though your levering anything major with them

Think it was £60 inc delivery. Some of them are very useful for trim removal - even has the fork/pliers trim popper! Its very useful!

The Pliers are very good, saves those door card lugs from breaking! :happy2:

Your damn right! I use to fit handfree kits to brand new VW's, Audi's, Vauxhalls, Saabs, Landrovers, Skoda's, Seats. As the company I worked at was cheaper to get us to fit them than get their own mechanics to fit them. So I did hundreds of them - Even did one of the first Scirocco's R's the guy was told 2hrs to fit the kit and get it working - he said youve got 20 minutes - Did it in 16! inc removal of the trim (I hate that black Piano type trip it scratches so easily!) I use the blue bodywork take on the top of the trim to guarentee I never scratched or marked anything!
I fitted a double din pioneer headunit & handsfree with an ipod adapter in the coil tray in about 15 minutes!
