Guys what is the latest revision Diverter valve?
I currently have a D, was under the impression that a G is the revised version less prone to potentially leaking (that the D may be) but read a post on another forum suggesting there was now a later Rev C - which I thought was the old one with the rubber diaphragm the D replaced.
Confused much? Answers on a postcard please!

For the TFSI engine G is the latest - it ran A-G. The "D" revision that people have used is actually from the TSI engine but still works on ours :happy2:
To answer your question, the G is the latest and at the moment, the best OEM DV you can buy
There was a revised D model with a diaphragm, but tbh you can't go wrong with a G. If you car was a late 2007 or later it probably has the G anyway

Thanks Gray that's what I thought, but found some confusing info and wanted clarification.
Cheers

I've got a 2005 gti still with original diverter valve and no problems as far as I know. Would revision g even fit mine and if so would there be any improvement?

More info in my thread from a few days ago :happy2:

Thanks for that link, didn't find that when I searched just a mixture of posts from August 2008 through to some time in 2010, all out of order.
That's very useful. I am interested to see if replacing my D with a G makes any/much difference.

I think it would be worth checking your original DV, I can pretty much guarantee it will be split. I thought my 2005Gti was running fine but still checked it and was split!

Replaced with 'G' version no problems :happy2:

They are just later revisions of the same part so yes :happy2:

.
Depending on how bad a split in the diaphragm is, you should notice a drop in performance.
Extra boost pressure from remapped cars is what can (randomly) cause a split. Back in around 2006 the best option was a Forge DV rather than keep on replacing the OEM and early VW revisions didn't solve the problem - My Forge is still going strong.

Anyone got the part No for the "G" version then?

06H 145 710 G

06H 145 710 G
Someone else has quoted 06F 145 710 G for the rev G part no. So which is the correct one, 06H or 06F?

I would also like to know as in my thread it was quoted as 06F.
