Title: Xenon igniters, Bosch, Hella- what's the difference?
Post by: GTI_UK on November 26, 2012, 08:29:30 am
I know the MK5 uses the Bosch AL xenon igniter like this:

Just wondering if the Hella ones also fit? (Assuming they're D2S)

Like these:

The answer is plug fitment. So Hella one's don't fit the standard plug but can be made to fit with a little work.
