Title: Mileage check via VCDS

Is it even possible to check IF the car has been clocked at all?

I know current mileage is shown, but wondering if its possible to see if mileage has been tampered with at all?

I think the DSG box also records milage.

On topic but just an FYI/query, I always find VCDS is about 9 miles behind what the car's own milometer shows  :confused: :ashamed:

I've seen it on every card I've used VCDS with but never thought to query why any further... I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation seeing as it's so consistent?!

All I can think of is the mileage from the factory floor to the showroom being erased

Yes - i've noticed its always a few miles out also.

if the DSG box records it how do i check this  :ashamed:
