I'm considering fitting some winter tyres to my edition 30. What are the best rims to get? I'm presuming a 17" wheel, but whats cheap?

I have a set of 16" alloys that I use with winter wheels
Keep an eye on gumtree as there are sets appearing on there all the time
I got a set of wheels from an A4 for £200 with continental winter contact tyres a few months ago

Will 16" wheels fit over Std ed 30/gti brakes?

There's a lot of 17" Audi rims on eBay that come up. As long as your searching for 5x112 fitment and keep a sensible offset there are bargains to be had!

Thanks for that. There seems to be plenty about.
