Have just cancelled my long standing subscription to Top Gear magazine (after they took not 1 or 2 but 3 lots of money out) and am undecided which one to go for?
-
Go high brow http://www.subscription-service.co.uk/magazine-scientific-american.asp

I've subscribed to EVO since issue 1. I don't think it's ever let me down. The writing is always good and the photography is excellent.
-
+1 for EVO. :happy2:
-
^^^^ I've just been recommended EVO by my brother-in-law, he said I quote "EVO, end off". Usually I ignore his advice but who's knows he might be right this time. :happy2:

Would look impressive sat on the coffee table. Do they do this in a version for simpletons who like looking at pictures of bossoms! If so, I'm in!
-
+2 for Evo it's a must have.
-
EVO...........
Your search is now over and your question answered! :happy2:
-
+ Evo :happy2:
-
Mayfair & playboy mags are brilliant :happy2:Only joking mate
Evo all the way mate
-
That was unanimous then! EVO it is. :happy2:
-
Evo or Car for me!
Paul
-
evo (only mag i subscribe to)
-
i had impreza mag subscription for near 3 years but got a letter 2 weeks ago saying that total car magazines had gone into liquidation and will be no more
:ashamed: :ashamed:
-
Another EVO vote from me, been subscribed for about 8 years.
Really look forward to the grey plastic envelope of 'carnography' through the door every month.
No good if you wanna know the boot space of a Vauxhall Astra though, it's all about how they drive.
Paganis and Veryrons down to Pandas and Ups etc.
On a small plus point subscribers now get exclusive 'clutter free' front covers, different to the shop versions.
-
I have 2 subs ---- Evo and Golf Monthly :happy2:
-
Volkswagen Driver, EVO & Autocar for me. Love James Ruppert and his 'bangernomics', Steve Cropley is an absolute legend and Steve Sutcliffe is also a great writer in my opinion, butI miss Chris Harris's contributions. Autocar keeps me going weekly until my monthly's arrive.
-
Well it is getting boring now, but yes, it is another Evo magazine vote here too. I also get Top Gear as a comedy magazine, Autocar for a weekly artwork fantasy mag and FHM for serious manly issues  Car magazine is good on occasion, but sometimes a bit vanilla in it's writing style.
-
Anyone tried Octane?
-
I've got a few subs but all on my iPad. Another vote for Evo as well. also have stuff, T3 and mac format. Fhm for high brow reading.
-
I have had a few over the years. Currently have Top Gear. Previously had Evo, Autocar & FHM.
Evo was good. Might go for that again. I prefer the iPad versions now though...less to carry around :happy2:
-
BIKE mag is the only one I subscribe to :happy2: :happy2:
However dont know about car mags
-
Job done.
Due to (near) 100% recommendation I've signed up to EVO (well the misses has, it's a extra Crimbo gift). 12 months for £40 with their Christmas deal. Do I need the iPad issue as well though? Is it just the same but downloadable for my iPad?
:happy2:

Is slightly different. You normally get more photographs, but essentially the editorial is exactly the same. There normally a few video features as well. It's worth getting if it's only a few pounds more, but it can't replace the printed copy for me.
-
^^^^ thanks for the info. :happy2:
I've just checked, It seems thats its only 50p extra so will phone up tomorrow and add it on.
Agree, you can't beat or replace the physical printed version. Always feel the same when I use my Kindle, it's just not the same.

+ Evo :happy2:
..........& me. :happy2:
