Title: Sub install in a Mk5 Jetta - 25 minutes!!
Post by: Polo6n1600i on November 30, 2012, 01:41:09 pm
Just did that on my day off yesterday - was totally dreading trying to get the power cable through the bulkhead - but damn - it was as easy as doing an old clio or Polo!

Had the power, switched, earth and phono leads all run and the headunit back out, everything plugged back in and working in 25 minutes! (cuts to prove it!) Wow the Jetta boot space really amplifies the bass!

Did you fit this to a standard headunit or into an aftermarket one.

Tempted to do it but don't want to loose the standard headunit.

I fitted a pioneer doubledin. It's got iPod & Bluetooth. I've even got another headunit the same as I had the same radio in both cars I had previous to my jetta.
