Hi there, sold my mk5 GTi earlier this year for a supercharged mkiv r32.
But I'm back with a grey 3 door eddy 30 :)
Picked her up yesterday and she's all good, just no edition alloys and a few aux inputs but non work :(
Already planning the mods,
Exhaust
Intake
Wheels
Coilovers
FMIC
Change the interior
Few other bits to.
Well will post build thread up dur in week :)

oooh nice--was looking at going the same route with getting a r32 and charging it but it was cost factor that put me off like getting a good r32 =-then it will need the chains doing then the charger

Do all Ed30s have Golf badges? I thought the GTIs and R32s didn't say Golf on their butts?

I'm not to sure mate, but mine doesn't have a build number plaque on the inside.

ED30's came with matte black monzas, and no plaque if they were imported. Therefore this isn't a UK car, but still an ED30 all the same.

The wheels were changed by the original owner as he hated the bbs's and only the owner was given the plaque I thought?

I was just wondering why the car had them alloys and no plaque, as these were the cars for foreign ED30's. If the owner was given a plaque, wouldn't he have put it on the car?
-
And was he telling porkies about changing the wheels...?
-
ED30's also say GTI on the back, and not GOLF :S

Those alloys were an option on ED 30's.

Yeah maybe, apparently guy who had it before the trader I brought it from said that he thought the monzas suited it better.
