Hi today i put on the Pescaras which i Bought from Jedi-Knight once again Thanks to Him. But rear either left or right wheels is making a wheel bearing noise, could this what could this be caused by does anyone have a clue?

could be one of the tyres out of shape--normally on the inner edge

I think ill take the wheel out and put it bolt it back on see if it make changes, is yours a GTTdi or a normal 1.9TDI

Sounds like a flat edge on one of the tyres to me... my mrs had the same thing on her motor and I was sure it was a wheel bearing - it turned out that her tyre resembled a 50 pence piece...

Hmm, because on the previous 16" alloys it never did that. I shall give Kwik Fit a visit tomorrow.

I knew someone will come back with that :laugh: nah my best mates dad works there and all the other employees are cool with me or else i would just drive past a Kwik Fit like it never existed. :grin:

Hmm sorry to hear that.. odd... They never made a noise on mine. Did you put the good tyres on the front? It might just be that the tyre thats almost bald is more noisy than the others and than your old tyres?
Try putting the worn tyres on the front and see if it changes. (you should run the best tyres on the back anyway)

i had nasty tyres on my R when i bought it, they sound louder than a intake on the motorway

Nah mate they are coming off on thursday gna put old ones back on.

Thats odd and sorry to hear that. Cant see how a wheel will make a noise? You sure its not rubbing anywhere? Have you tried changing the 2 bald tyres?

Yh ive changed them now the wheels are off ive put the old ones back on with winter tyres as im goin germany in a week oi will put the pecys on around february im thinking of getting coilovers then aswell. But i have changed the bald ones to very good tyres but they were stillthe same so i leave it for now. But thanks for your concern mate. Ill update you later in a couple of months :)

and the noise went with your old wheels back on?
Sorry for the problems. They were honestly fine on mine and dont like hearing your having problems with something ive sold.

Yeh the noise is gone now, ill c later in feb how it is . No worries i love the wheels nothing wrong with them . Just noise was pissing me off a lil but its ok . And it was heavy on bumps gives a big knock and i think that due to the shocks going out aswell
