Title: Main beams too high
Post by: andygo on December 03, 2012, 01:39:56 pm
The main beams on my gti seem a bit high. They leave a 'gap' between the top of my dipped beam and the bottom of high if you get my drift.

Is there any way to adjust them independently?

Non xenon? If so yes there's adjusters either side...

There are 2 white adjusters each side of the dipped beam bulb/reflector. they only adjust dipped beam not high beam. There is a guide that relates to a US Jetta, but a mk5 gti headlamp appears to be different.

Googled but cant find anything that tells how to do this adjustment.

I'd rather find out how to do it myself. It can't be that tricky if a dealer can do it!
